When marketing doesn’t produce leads

Are you doing all the right things to market your business, but still feeling frustrated because your leads are low?

If so, you’re not alone.

In this post, I’m going to share with you two of the most common mistakes businesses make when it comes to lead generation, and how you can avoid them.

Do you feel like you’re stuck in a rut when it comes to marketing your business? Are you tired of being told to take ineffective actions that don’t lead to results?

I was having a conversation with someone in a business coaching group about how frustrating it is to do all the right things in marketing, but still not see results in the form of leads. I suggested that they take a look at two things:

first, whether their activity is actually the correct activity that their audience wants to see and
second, whether they are forgetting to tell people they can buy from them.

Here are the steps you need to follow to also get sales, leads, and customers:

1. Make sure your content is interesting and stops people from scrolling.
2. Make sure you are being social yourself if you want social media engagement.
3. ASK to find out if your activity is the correct activity.

1. Make sure your content is interesting and stops people from scrolling.

To make sure your content is interesting and stops people from scrolling, you need to make sure you are being interesting and engaging yourself.

Share content that is interesting, informative, and helpful (for your audience). If you can do this, people will be more likely to share your content with their followers, which will help to increase your reach. Be sure to use social media to share news and announcements about your business.

This is a great way to generate interest and excitement.

Take some time to look at what other successful people in your industry are doing and see what you can learn from them! If you are being a bit vanilla, mix it up and try something new.
Be brave and put your personality into your brand.
Lastly, make sure you are telling people they can buy from you. You can be selling without being salesy.

Just make sure you are telling people that they can buy from you.

2. Make sure you are being social yourself if you want social media engagement.

In order to get social media engagement, you need to be social yourself.

This means engaging with others on social media, commenting on their posts, and starting conversations.

You can also host social media events or contests to get people talking.
If you want to take it a step further, you can reach out to influencers in your industry and collaborate with them.

You should always be responsive to your audience. This means answering questions, responding to comments, and addressing concerns. If you can do this, you’ll build a loyal following that will continue to engage with you on social media.

3. Use surveys to find out if your activity is the correct activity.

If you want to find out if your activity is the correct activity, the best way to do that is to survey your audience.

Ask them what they want to see more of, what they liked about your last activity, and what they didn’t like.

This will give you valuable feedback that you can use to make your next activity even better.

Another great way to get feedback is to simply ask people how they found out about your activity.

This will give you an idea of which marketing channels are most effective and where you should focus your efforts.
