Today I am sharing my thoughts with you as to when marketing should become a factor for your business. And the answer is: from day one!
Too often, businesses don’t start thinking about marketing until they’re already in trouble.
By then, it’s too late to put the foundations in place that will help the business grow. If you want your business to be successful, you need to put thought into your branding, your marketing communications, and your processes and procedures from the very beginning.
It doesn’t need to be expensive or time-consuming, but it is essential. So if you’re just starting out in business, or if you’re thinking about starting a business, make sure to factor marketing into your plans from day one. It could be the difference between success and failure.
Here are some things to think about when you think about your marketing:
1. Marketing should be a factor from the beginning in order to have a strong foundation and brand.
2. Marketing is more than just social media posts- it’s about having great communications with customers and a strong understanding of your product.
3. Put processes and procedures in place from the beginning- this will make marketing easier down the track.
1. Marketing should be a factor from the beginning in order to have a strong foundation and brand.
This means putting in place the right processes and procedures from the start so that you can easily scale up as your business grows. Word of mouth can only take you so far – you need to have a solid brand that resonates with your target audience in order to attract new customers and grow your business.
2. Marketing is more than just social media posts- it’s about having great communications with customers and a strong understanding of your product.
Marketing should become a factor for your business from day one in order to build a strong brand with a clear identity. A great way to start marketing your business is to develop a solid understanding of your product or service.
You can do this by talking to customers, researching your industry, and studying your competition.
Once you have a good grasp on your product, you can begin to develop a marketing strategy that will help you reach your target audience.
3. Put processes and procedures in place from the beginning- this will make marketing easier down the track.
All too often, businesses grow too quickly and without the proper foundations in place, resulting in frustration and a lack of clarity. Having a solid marketing foundation from the start will help to avoid these issues and set your business up for success.
The bottom line is that marketing should be a factor from the very beginning of starting a business.
This is because marketing provides the foundation for a strong brand that can withstand growth and change.
So if you’re a business owner, don’t wait to get started on your marketing.
Put the foundations in place from the beginning and you’ll be on your way to success.
